Welcome to JarvisMarcos.com, a thorough and extensive database of my travel reviews.

I fly over 100,000 miles per year in First and Business class cabins and review every new product that I try. Similarly, I review almost every luxury hotel and airport lounge that I set foot in

I book the majority of my travel using sales, promotions and a variety of other tricks - often leveraging the power of hotel points and airline miles. If I use a special technique of any kind to book a travel experience, I'll mention it in the review.

This means that hopefully you'll have all the tools you need to book your own amazing trips too!

REVIEW – Etihad Airways : Business Class – Abu Dhabi to London (A380)

After an absolutely spectacular outbound flight in the First Class Apartments I was really curious to see how the business class product would pan out. Given that I would be heading straight to the office from this flight, my priorities were a little different than on the outbound. Basically I just wanted to get to sleep in comfort and enjoy some privacy and quiet. I wasn't looking for tons of attention and I was already stuffed from the food at the lounge and on the flight from MLE.

REVIEW – Etihad Airways : Business Class (Regional) – MalĂ© to Abu Dhabi (A320)

The aircraft on the return featured the same shorthaul Recaro recliner seats as the outbound. I like the comfortable mixture of a leather headrest and fabric seat combined with the large pillows and squishy blanket. As somebody that lives in Europe I never cease to be amazed when I get to experience ACTUAL short-haul business class, with a business class seat! Still I cant deny it it, I do love bus gates when it's sunny and humid outside. There's an undeniable holiday feeling about the whole process when the weather cooperates.

REVIEW – Conrad Maldives : Seaplane Lounge MLE [Evening Departure]

The staff at the Conrad Seaplane lounge are extremely friendly, the space is clean, the seats are comfortable and the views are great. However, the dinner buffet seems like one last desperate attempt by the Conrad to extract cash from people for something that really isn't worth the money. It' a shame that the hotel has decided to leave customers with this as their parting memory.

The Spectacular Diving and Snorkelling at the Conrad Maldives

I only got into diving relatively recently, having completed my Open Water Diver course in Bali, back in 2014. Since then I have been become absolutely enamoured with the underwater world. Where previously I saw little appeal in staying at beach resorts more than three nights, now my beach stays are longer, so I can spend more time diving and also have enough time to decompress before going up to 36,000ft again!
